Favorite College Activity: I spent a summer in the lab doing independent research with my advisor for my senior honors project. We were able to work closely together each day, culminating in a trip to a large research conference. It was an incredible way to use the knowledge I had gained throughout the first three years of college and test myself in a real, working lab situation.
Interesting Fact: My family and I recently returned to Minnesota after living in Oregon for five years. We enjoyed the Pacific Northwest, but the pull of the Twin Cities was too hard to resist. We love to take advantage of the music, theater, museums and restaurants of the city while still enjoying the lakes, parks and outdoor activities.
Favorite fact about Hamline: I appreciate the sense of history that is felt throughout campus. Pipers are learning about themselves and discovering their futures while maintaining a respect for and a connection to the past.
