Favorite college activity: Study abroad in the Baltic States, which included Germany, Russia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Sweden. It was the greatest month of my life - I got to explore these amazing countries with my closest friends, and we still talk about the trip to this day.
Interesting fact: My favorite restaurant is Ichiban’s in Minneapolis. I go there for all-you-can-eat sushi. It’s a unique experience because the sushi chefs are in the middle of where you sit surrounded by floating boats that they drop the sushi into when done. So, you’re forced to try different kinds unless you choose to wait for your favorite to float by.
Where you'll find me: Depending on the season, you can catch me at Target Field cheering on the twins, outdoors roaming around one of the many trails the Twin Cities has to offer, or at the Rusty Taco off of Lexington.
Why I love Hamline: Hamline does a great job preparing students for life after college. Hamline values hands-on learning, which allows our students to complete an internship as soon as their freshman year. Not only are they going to be prepared to excel in their careers, but in life. The diverse population we have here creates a campus climate that is very accepting.
