Major in college: American Studies and Psychology

Favorite college activity: Studying abroad at the University of Sheffield in England my Junior year. I spent a semester there living with nine other international students and was able to backpack around Europe for a month.

Interesting fact: I recently re-read The Liars Club by Mary Karr and rediscovered how much I love memoirs and creative nonfiction. One of my all-time favorite books is Truck: A Love Story by Michael Perry in that same genre.

Why I love Hamline: I’m so proud of the fact that 100% of Hamline students complete an internship, collaborative research project, or study abroad experience during their time here. Our students are exceptionally prepared for success after graduation, and well-equipped to articulate the meaning of a liberal arts education within a hands-on learning environment.
