Rate includes stage manager and crew, concert hall lighting (no spots or colored lights), sound (basic House P.A. includes podium with microphone and three wireless microphones - monitors and other P.A. extra. See Below), and staff for each. Please note that non-campus renters must supply a certificate of insurance or purchase same through Hamline University in order to rent Sundin Music Hall. Rentals work on a sliding scale, as noted below. The Sundin Music Hall season runs from July 1 - June 30. Sundin Music Hall Seat Layout Outside Event Rental Concert Hall Rental (up to 8 hours of hall use): Single event: $680.00 1-4 events: $550.00 per concert 5+ events: $500.00 per concert Each additional hour above 8 hours is billed at $85 per hour. Rehearsal, not on the day of the concert: $180.00 per three hours ($60.00 per hour after that) - extra set up is billed at $60 per hour or partial hour Piano tuning: $140.00 per piano per tuning Percussion instrument use: $25 per rehearsal or concert Setup and use of Choral Risers: $35 per rehearsal or concert (no extra fee if the rehearsal is on the day of the concert) Audio recording: 1-4 concert recordings: $135.00 per recording 5+ concert recordings: $100.00 per recording Video recording: $175.00 per recording (unedited DVD) Use of screen and/or projector and/or laptop: $50 Extra Audio services: Use of House Tech /Set up of Monitors and Remote Speakers: $100 Additional mics beyond podium mic and 3 wireless mics: $25 Ticket services: Front-of-House and ushers: $50.00 per event Event box office: $150.00 per event (includes ushers) + 7% credit card handling fee (per event) Pre- and event box office (includes ushers): $300.00 per event + 5% of the total gate Ticket Printing: $75.00 Rental Rates for University Events University renters, please contact Silvester Vicic at 651-523-2197.
