  • Fall 2014 Transfer Student Orientation

    Welcome new transfer students! Now that you are officially a Hamline student, the Center for Student Success and Transition have a series of orientation programs geared specifically to you and your transitional needs. These orientation programs will help you, as new students:

    • Help you prepare for your start as a student
    • Become familiar with campus
    • Connect with your faculty advisor and other new students
    • Find out what it takes to be successful at Hamline
    • Understand your academic requirements to graduate
    • Develop a connection to Hamline's values and mission

    Programs

    All three orientation events are mandatory for the respective incoming students.

    Piper Preview

    Piper Preview shares information about important resources new students need as they transition into the Hamline community.

    Piper Passages

    A one-day orientation program held just prior to the beginning the spring and fall semester.

    Part III
    One-on-One Meeting

    During their first six weeks at Hamline, all new transfer students meet with a member of the CSS&T staff to address individual questions and concerns.

    More information on one-on-one meetings will be provided in the summer.
