    New Student Mentor Program

    New Student Mentors (NSMs) are current Hamline students prepared to welcome you and help you throughout your first year at Hamline.

    These enthusiastic students are able to help answer your questions, show you around campus and help you learn the ins and outs of Hamline. They will serve as your guide throughout Piper Preview, Piper Passages and also within your FYSem class.

    Join Hamline School of Business on Friday, April 21 for the fifth annual Community Economic Development Symposium, Itasca to the Bayou - Economic Development along the Mississippi. This day-long event is a powerful convergence of experts who have enacted real change along America's most prominent riverfront. Please register online.

    Lifeng Dong, the Emma K. and Carl R. N. Malmstrom endowed chair in physics, was invited to present at Macalester College on March 29, 2017 on the development of multifunctional graphene-based nanocomposites for energy conversion and storage.

    Bart D. Ehrman, best-selling author and distinguished professor of religious studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, will give a public lecture titled Misquoting Jesus: Scribes Who Changed the Scriptures and Readers Who May Never Know at Hamline. The event is free and open to the public on Thursday, April 20 from 7-9 p.m. in Sundin Music Hall.
