    International Orientation

    Welcome International Students!

    All new international students including transfer students must attend their respective international orientation program. This will be a great opportunity for you to meet other new international students, returning international students, American students, staff and faculty at Hamline. The program is designed to help you acclimate to life in the United States, Minnesota and Hamline. The program includes information on visas, social security, campus resources, campus employment, counseling and health services, and health insurance.

     International student orientation is run out of the International and Off-Campus Programs office. Orientation is mandatory and helps incoming students acclimate and feel more at home at Hamline.

    The Hamline School of Education announces a new, cutting-edge master's program. The Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MA-TESOL) prepares advocates and leaders in this growing field.

    The Hamline Martial Arts Club invites the Hamline community to their Hold Off the Horde event on Friday, October 31 from 5 - 6 p.m. in Bush Ballroom. Learn zombie self-defense techniques to stay safe during a zombie apocalypse.

    Students interested in studying abroad are encouraged to schedule an appointment to meet with a study abroad advisor. Students must submit an application a full year in advance and the deadline to apply to study abroad during fall 2015 is Monday, November 17.
