Deborah Keenan's book of poetry, Willow Room, Green Door: New and Selected Poems, published in 2007 by Milkweed Editions, was number three on the list of the top ten poetry books selected by Book Sense for National Poetry Month. The top ten books received hundreds of votes from independent booksellers nationwide, who were asked to choose the most noteworthy of recent books in poetry. Deborah's book came in behind Li-Young Lee's Behind My Eyes and Mary Oliver's Thirst. |
