Pipers swept by Tommies

Despite tough battles at the top of the singles and doubles line-up, the Hamline women's tennis team fell at St. Thomas, 9-0, in MIAC play on Thursday.

Kelly Gust (Jr., East Grand Forks, Minn.) played a tight match at first singles, falling to Alexandra Frank, 3-6, 4-6, while Liz Gunderson (Jr., New Prague, Minn.) teamed with her to lose a close 6-8 decision at first doubles.

The Pipers will play Gustavus at Lifetime Fitness in Bloomington tomorrow, Friday, April 18. They head into the match with a 4-13, 0-8 MIAC record.
