Piper women drop Florida finale to Trinity College

Trinity College proved to be too much for the Hamline University women's tennis team, as they fell, 1-8, on the final day of competition in Orlando, Florida over spring break.

The long Piper win came at second singles, as Liz Gunderson (Jr., New Prague, Minn.) led 5-3, 30-15 before her opponent retired.

The Pipers are now at 4-6, 0-1 MIAC after going 2-2 over spring break.

Hamline resumes MIAC play on Saturday, March 29 at 3:00 p.m. at Macalester.
