Gust sweeps as Pipers drop season finale

Kelly Gust (Jr., East Grand Forks, Minn.) finished her 2008 season with a pair of wins, as the Pipers dropped their season finale to Bethel, 6-3.

Gust battled to a 7-6 (7-4, 6-3 win at first singles, while Kristin Sczublewski (Fy., Pierz, Minn.) picked up a Piper point in a 6-3, 6-1 win at fifth singles.

Gust then paired up with Liz Gunderson (Jr., New Prague, Minn.) for an 8-4 victory at first doubles.

Hamline finishes the season at 4-15, 0-10 MIAC.
