St. Thomas beats Hamline 4-0

The Hamline women's soccer team held St. Thomas scoreless in the first half before the Tommies took control of the game and downed Hamline 4-0 Sunday afternoon at Pat Paterson Fields.

The Pipers dropped to 4-4, and 1-3 in MIAC play after being taken down by conference opponent St. Thomas.  St. Thomas outshot the Pipers 28-7 on the day, and moved to 2-2 in conference play. 

St. Thomas junior Krystal Stautz had nine shots and two goals in the victory for the Tommies. Hamline goalkeeper Andrea Eilertson had 13 saves on the day.

Next up for the Pipers is a non-conference match-up against Northwestern Tueday, Oct. 4 at Pat Paterson Fields. Game time is 4:00 p.m.
