Women's soccer loses close match to St. Olaf

Hamline goalkeeper Andrea Eilertson made 15 saves, but Kaia Knutson scored at 77:50 as St. Olaf defeated Hamline 1-0 Tuesday afternoon in Northfield, Minn.

Hamline (7-10, 2-9 in the MIAC) was outshot in the contest 21-5, but Eilertson kept the Pipers in the game with 15 saves. The goal was Knutson's fifth of the season.

St. Olaf goalkeeper Emily Rolfsmeyer made two saves for the Oles, who improve to 6-9-1, 3-7 in the MIAC.

Hamline will close the regular season against UW-Eau Claire on Saturday. Game time at Pat Paterson Fields is set for 2:00 p.m.
