First-years steal show as women's soccer shuts out Presentation

Watson added her second goal at 58:45 of the second half. Hamline (1-0) held a 28-2 edge in shots on goal and 39-2 advantage in shots attempted. First-year Kim Magill became the third Piper of the day to score a goal in their first collegiate game, netting a goal at 80:54 to make the score 6-0. Sophomore Anna McMahon and junior KC Heaney also added goals for the Pipers. Presentation (0-1) had just two shots on goal against Hamline netminder Andrea Eilertson, who was also appearing in her first collegiate game. The Pipers will next play at Bethany Lutheran on Sunday night. Game time is set for 8:00 p.m. |
