Macalester blanks women's soccer 2-0The Scots (13-0-1, 8-0-1 in the MIAC) took a 1-0 lead at the 16:08 mark on a goal by Grace King. Olof Petursdottir added another goal at 28:38 for the game's final tally. The Pipers (7-7, 2-6) were outshot in the contest 25-6 and 10-2 in shots on goal, but Piper goalkeeper Andrea Eilertson made eight saves. The Pipers will play St. Mary's Thursday afternoon in Winona, Minn. The game is slated for 3:30 p.m. |
