Crystal Testolin
Sophomore goaltender Crystal Testolin made 32 saves as the Pipers defeated St. Thomas for the first time in school history and was named MIAC Women's Hockey Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday.

Testolin, from Richardson, Texas, stopped all 32 of the shots she faced to lead Hamline to a 2-0 victory over St. Thomas Saturday night at Drake Arena.

The win clinched the Pipers' first playoff berth in the team's history and gave the Pipers their first win over St. Thomas (0-13 in 13 games). Testolin made 23 saves over the final two periods of play to earn her second shutout of the season.

Prior to the win, St. Thomas had defeated Hamline by at least four goals in every meeting of the series.
