Women's hockey drops OT decision at Bethel

Alli Miller
Alli Miller (Fy., Fairbault, Minn.) scored the lone Piper goal as Hamline University's women's hockey team fell 2-1 to host Bethel in overtime on Friday.

Miller scored at 2:34 in the second period to break a 0-0 tie off of an assist from Melanie Leveille (So., Appleton, Wis.), but it wasn't enough to secure the Pipers' the MIAC victory.

Bethel scored at 17:39 in the third to send the game into overtime, and then took less than a minute to secure the win, scoring at 57 seconds.

The Pipers dropped to 8-8-2, 3-6-2 MIAC, while Bethel improved to 7-9-1, 4-7 MIAC. The same two teams meet again tomorrow, Saturday, February 2, at 7:15 p.m. at Drake Arena.
