Women's hockey ends season with loss to Tommies

Carroll started the scoring for the Tommies (20-4-1, 15-2-1 in the MIAC) at the 15:51 mark of the first period. She would add another goal in the second perod and a goal and two assists in the third period.

Sophomore Elysha Fuchs got the Pipers on the board with her first goal of the season at 11:53 of the second period.

First-year Kate Raasch added her 12th goal of the season at the 3:03 mark of the third period, and Mindy Lein netted her fourth of the season at 6:49.

First-year Alexandra Strunk made 12 saves in the first period. Senior Rachael Young stopped 19 shots in the second period, and Crystal Testolin had 14 saves in the third period.

Tommie goaltender Becky Kilpatrick had 17 saves in the win.
