Women's hockey falls in home finaleThe Tommies (19-4-1, 14-2-1 in the MIAC) scored three times in the first and second periods and four more times in the third period to earn the win. Hamline (4-15-5, 3-11-3) held St. Thomas to just 36 shots in the game, but starting goaltender Rachael Young allowed six goals on 21 shots. Backup Crystal Testolin allowed four goals on 15 shots. Tommie netminder Katie Jetland stopped 18 shots for the shutout victory. The two teams will meet again Saturday night at St. Thomas. Game time is slated 7:00 p.m. |
