Women's hockey records third tie of the season against Concordia

Hamline tied for the third time this season, playing Concordia to a 1-1 draw Sunday afternoon at the Cobber Thanksgiving Tournament in Moorhead, Minn.

After a scoreless first period, the Cobbers (0-5-2) grabbed a lead on a Paige Stone goal at 14:26 of the second period.

Hamline came back to tie the game on Brianna Miller's second goal of the year at 7:25 of the third period. She was assisted by Emily Dusold and Cortney Hansen.

First-year goaltender Alexandra Strunk made 32 saves in her first collegiate start to earn the tie.

The Pipers will next play St. Benedict on Friday night. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
