Cobbers slip past women's hockey 3-0
After two scoreless periods of play, the Cobbers (4-8-3, 4-4-2 in the MIAC) netted the first goal of the game at :34 on a Lisa Graham goal. Less than six minutes later, Ceara Bergsrud scored on the power play to give Concordia a 2-0 lead. They would add an empty netter for the game's final tally. Hamline (3-8-4, 2-6-2) was outshot 15-6 in the decisive period and 38-22 for the game. Hamline netminder Rachael Young made 35 saves in the game. Cobber Jenna Johnson stopped all 22 shots for the shutoyt win. The Pipers will host St. Catherine Friday night at Drake Arena. Game time is set for 7:15 p.m. |
