Heinen, Tschumperlin earn All-MIAC honorable mention![]()
![]() Heinen, a sophomore from Spicer, Minn., averaged 9.9 points and 6.1 rebounds per contest in conference play this season. Heinen shot 40.6 percent from the floor (73-of-180). She also was 20-of-54 from three-point range (37 percent). It is the first time Heinen has been named to an all-conference team. Tschumperlin, a sophomore from Watkins, Minn., led the Pipers win scoring during MIAC action with 10.4 points per game. She added 3.7 rebounds and 2.09 assists per game. The guard shot 39.8 percent from the floor (78-of-196) and made 33-of-92 three-point attempts in conference play. This was the first time Tschumperlin earned all-conference accolades. Senior Megan Haugen, from New Richmond, Wis., was named to the MIAC All-Sportsmanship team. Hamline finished with a record of 13-12, 11-11 in the MIAC. It was just the third time is school history that the Hamline women's basketball team finished with a record above .500. |
