Pipers drop game at Blazers

The College of Saint Benedict took control of the agme just six minutes in, and never let the visiting Pipers back in, as the Hamline University women's basketball team fell on the road, 82-64.

Hamline scored first, and Saint Benedict's tied it up three times in the first six minutes before the host Blazers took the lead for good. They held a 36-30 lead at halftime.

Rochelle Sather (So., Andover, Minn.) and Mary Wilkowski (Fy., Savannah, Ga.) led the Pipers with 16 points each. Krystal Tschumperlin (Jr., Watkins, Minn.) added 12 points.

The 12-10, 10-10 MIAC Pipers return home to host Gustavus on Wednesday, February 20 at 7:30 p.m.
