Three Pipers named to MIAC Women's Basketball All-Conference teams![]()
![]() Ewert, from Andover, Minn., was named All-MIAC first team for the second time of her career. Senior Carolyn Korchik and junior Kelly Lines each received All-MIAC honorable mention accolades. Ewert was named to the first team after posting 14.0 points and 7.8 rebounds per contest in league action. She was seventh in the MIAC in scoring and third in rebounding. Ewert led the Pipers to their first playoff appearance in school history. In all games, Ewert totaled 13.0 ppg and 8.1 rpg. On Feb. 13, Ewert was named MIAC Player of the Week. Korchik, from Bloomington, Minn., averaged 10.7 points and 4.3 rebounds per game during the conference season. She moved up to fifth on Hamline's all-time scoring list with 1,330 points. It was the second time in her career she was named All-MIAC honorable mention. She was named All-MIAC first team as a first-year and sophomore. Lines, from North Branch, Minn., was named All-MIAC honorable mention for the first time. She posted 10.0 ppg and 3.2 rpg. She led the team in assists with 54 on the season. |
