Tapia-Rodriguez named MIAC Men's Swimmer of the Week

Sophomore Jonathan Tapia-Rodriguez won four events at the Macalester Invitational and was named MIAC Men's Swimmer of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday.

Tapia-Rodriguez had victories in the 100-meter butterfly (59.02), 200-meter butterfly (2:13.87) which set a meet and pool record, and 400-meter individual medley (5:05.96).

He added a leadoff split of 56.16 in the 400-meter freestyle relay victory for the Pipers.

The Pipers finished second in the Macalester Invitational held Saturday.
