Softball shuts out Carleton 8-0
![]() With the game scoreless after two innings, Anderberg hit a two-out grand slam to open the scoring. The homer was Anderberg's first of her career. Hamline (15-10, 9-6 in the MIAC) added four more runs in the fourth inning for the game's final outcome. Center fielder Jourdan Ulrich and third baseman Brenna Healy each added RBIs in the fourth inning outburst. Hamline starter Theresa Boleen (9-7) allowed just three hits in five innings of work to earn the victory over the Knights (7-22, 3-10). The Pipers were leading 3-0 in the third inning of game two when the game was halted by rain. The game will be concluded at that point on Tuesday, April 24 at 5:30 p.m. Hamline will host St. Scholastica in non-conference action on Monday. The doubleheader will start at 4:00 p.m. |
