Men's soccer up to 7th in region rankings

The Pipers remained unbeaten on the season with an 8-0-1 record after defeating conference foes Concordia and St. Thomas last week.

The Pipers beat St. Thomas for the second consecutive year with a 1-0 win. Before the wins in 2005 and 2006, Hamline had not beaten the Tommies since 1980.

Hamline is one of four MIAC teams ranked in the region. Gustavus is fourth with St. John's sixth. Augsburg is tied with Hamline for seventh in the region.

Hamline will play at St. Scholastica on Wednesday night.
