Gymnasts narrowly defeated by UW-Oshkosh![]()
![]() The Pipers bested the Titans in both the vault (45.375-44.5) and uneven bars (40.975-39.4), but the Titans were able to make up for the deficit with strong routines in the balance beam (40.175-38.825)and floor exercise (42.8-41.175). Hamline posted the top three scores on the evening on the vault as sophomore Brynn Stenslie, senior Katie Davis, and sophomore Alex Hughes finished 1-2-3. Stenslie posted a 9.2 in the event to lead the way. She also scored the highest in the balance beam with an 8.6. The Pipers had four of the top five scores on the uneven bars. Sophomore Kayla Sirmans scored a 8.45 in the event for the Pipers' highest score. Davis performed in the first all-around of her career, scoring a 33.4. She also led the Pipers in the floor exercise with an 8.5. The Pipers will compete at the UW-Eau Claire Invitational held next Friday. The meet will start at 6:00 p.m. |
