Stenslie named WIAC Gymnast of the Week

Sophomore Brynn Stenslie scored a 9.075 or higher in three events against Gustavus and was named WIAC Gymnast of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.

Stenslie scored a 9.075 or higher in three events to lead Hamline to a 176.050-173.575 dual meet win over Gustavus Adolphus (Minn.) on Feb. 2. She won the balance beam with a score of 9.250 and added a second-place finish in the floor exercise with a mark of 9.250 and a fifth-place standing in the vault with a 9.075.

Stenslie is the reigning Co-WIAC balance beam champion.

The Pipers will compete in the Best of Minnesota meet hosted by the University of Minnesota on Saturday. Meet time is set for 6:00 p.m.
