Prosen, Stenslie earn All-American honors at nationals
![]() ![]() ![]() Sarah Prosen (Fy., Apple Valley, Minn.) and Brynn Stenslie (Jr., Renton, Wash.) earned All-American honors as four Piper gymnasts competed at the NCGA Nationals at SUNY-Cortland. Four Piper gymnasts competed at nationals as individuals - Kristen Weniger (Jr., Eagan, Minn.) in the all-around, Ali Clausen (Jr., Newport, Wash.) on vault, Stenslie in two events - balance beam and floor exercise, and Prosen in the floor exercise. Prosen was named first team All-American after finishing 6th in the floor exercise with a score of 9.600. Second team All-American honors went to Stenslie with a 12th place finish on the balance beam, posting a score of 9.125. She finished tied for 33rd in the floor exercise with a score of 9.450. On vault, Clausen finished 42nd with a score of 9.225. Weniger, slated to compete in the all-around, scored a 9.350 on the floor exercise before an injury on vault forced her out of the competition. |
