Hamline finishes fourth at Best of Minnesota

The Hamline University gymnastics team finished fourth at the Best of Minnesota meet held on Saturday at the University of Minnesota. 

The University of Minnesota scored 194.275 points for the win, Winona State was second with 186.375 points, and Gustavus edged out Hamline on the last event, 178.6 points to 177.85, to finish third.

Alisha Anderson (Jr., Spring Lake Park, Minn.) was the highest finishing Piper, taking seventh on the uneven bars with a score of 9.425.

Molly Weber (Fy., El Prado, N.M.) was the highest-finishing Piper on the balance beam in 11th, with a score of 9.125. She finished fifth in the all-around, totalling 36.150 points.

The Pipers have next weekend off, and then return to competition at home, hosting the Hamline Invitational on Sunday, February 24 at 1:00 p.m.
