Pipers finish second at Best of Minnesota
![]() The vault proved to be the best apparatus for the Pipers as four of the six athletes received scores above a 9.0. First-year Alex Hughes finished 7th in the vault with a score of 9.350. Sirmons scored a 9.225, Stenslie a 9.150, and senior Renae Stinar finished with a 9.100. The highest finish of the night came from senior Emily Wind, who placed 3rd in the uneven bars with a score of 9.275. Junior Caitlin Goodin also posted a strong showing on the floor exercise, finishing the event with a season best of 9.400. Sirmans was the lone competitor in the all-around for the Pipers. She finished 6th overall with a combined score of 34.950. The Pipers will host Gustavus and UW-Eau Claire in their final home meet of the season. The meet is scheduled for 7:00 pm. |
