Schultz named ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District V
Schultz, from Rollingstone, Minn., leads the Pipers in tackles for the fourth consecutive season. Heading into Thursday's season finale, Schultz has posted 351 tackles in his career. This year, Schultz leads the Pipers with 71 stops (41 solo, 30 assists). He has also added 2.0 tackles for loss, two interceptions, three pass breakups, one recovered fumble, and one forced fumble. In the last 19 games, the Pipers are +29 in turnover margin. Schultz has accounted for 10 interceptions, four fumble recoveries, and three forced fumbles in that time span. To be eligible for Academic All-District an athlete must be a starter or key reserve of their team and hold a grade point average of 3.2 or better. Schultz has a 3.74 GPA in management and economics. |
