Anderson named MIAC Special Teams Player of the Week

Senior linebacker Brody Anderson scored his first career touchdown on a fake punt and was named MIAC Special Teams Player of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday.

With the Pipers (2-2) leading 28-7, Anderson ran 61 yards on a fake punt to give the Pipers a 35-7 advantage over Macalester Saturday afternoon at Klas Field.

Anderson finished the day with five tackles, four for loss, and a fumble recovery in the win.

The Pipers will host Concordia for Homecoming Saturday afternoon at Klas Field.
