Seliga named MIAC Defensive Player of the Week
Seliga (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) also forced a fumble and broke up two passes to go along with five solo tackles and two assists. Late in the third quarter, Seliga sacked Gustie quarterback Jordan Stolp, knocking the ball free on fourth-and-nine from the Hamline 20-yard line to preserve the 7-3 lead. Hamline held Gustavus to 237 yards of offense and forced three turnovers. The Pipers will travel to Bethel next Saturday. Kick off is set for 1:00 p.m. |
