A Cappella Choir Christmas Concert

The Choir will be joined in the Christmas Concert by the Hamline Cello Ensemble and Professor Yali You, and organist Helen Jensen.   President Linda Hanson will provide the Reflection.

The Choir is touring to Great Britain in January 2009 -- the concert will include highlights from our tour repertoire featuring English composers Vaughan Williams, Bairstow, Walton, and others.

Here is a reflection on our last trip abroad (2005) by Annika Walbert Johnson, class of 2006:

‘Our best performance, in my opinion, was in Wales in Merthyr Tydfil which our church member hosts took pleasure in teaching us how to pronounce correctly.  I will never forget the packed church rising at the end to perform the Welsh national anthem.  Our final concert in Orpington was lovely and even brought an old friend from Hamline’s Choir who was studying and interning in the arts in London.’
