Pertains to: All students
Description: Students who do not comply with Minnesota immunization requirements will have a hold placed on their account, and they will not be allowed to register for a second term.
Details: Minnesota Law (M.S.135A.14) requires that all students born after 1956 and enrolled in more than one class at a public or private post-secondary school in Minnesota, be immunized against diphtheria, tetanus, measles, mumps and rubella. The law exempts students born before 1957, and students who graduated from a Minnesota high school in 1997 or later.
Hamline University gathers this immunization information from all new students at the time of registration on Piperline. An immunization hold will be placed on the accounts of students who have not complied with the immunization requirements, and they will not be allowed to register for a second term.
