of environmental issues from the perspectives of different disciplines
such as biology, sociology, religion, philosophy, law and economics.
In addition, various perspectives within each discipline may also
be discussed. The power of politics in protecting the environment
and different strategies for future efforts to conserve the environment
will also be examined.
The course will have several guest speakers, field trips, video
and slide presentations.
