Sorin lobby TV stolen
When residents entered the Sorin lobby on April 2, they found that the flat-screen television was missing.
According to a campus-wide Safety and Security e-mail, the television was stolen in the early hours of the day. The television had been there for three months.
Sorin and Manor Hall director Lamar Shingles said that the theft was recorded in part from the ATM machine camera at the south doors of Sorin Hall.
The perpetrators entered through a ground floor window in Sorin and exited through the south doors.
In a campus e-mail, the Safety and Security office said they were following up on all leads. Because of this theft, the Safety and Security office has continued to check to make sure all possible entrances are secure.
In addition, a television from Osborn was also stolen last semester. The television that was stolen was the television that was previously installed in Osborn. Osborn’s new flat-screen television was recently broken shortly after it was installed. Safety and Security could not determine if the incidents were related.
