Fire tracks

We can do it. We have the technology. The technology to highlight some of the most bangin' jams from major labels and local artists alike. Here are the Fire Tracks. Enjoy.

"Dashboard"-Modest Mouse

"Dashboard" starts off with a similar flavor to that of 2004’s “Float On.” But the variety of sounds MM explores in this four-minute jam indicates that they are undoubtedly a whole new band. It’s got very danceable hooks, but is hardly lacking in almost-spastic variety. Look for a review of the whole album, We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank, next week.

"Ruby"-Kaiser Chiefs

With their new album, Yours Truly, Angry Mob, the Kaiser Chiefs break apart from their relationship with indie music, and offer up a release full of songs that can be sung along to. Their first single, “Ruby,” has a chorus that is so addictive that the third time it is heard, listeners will be singing along to the music.
