Will you marry me?
“Ellie Walker? Ellie Walker? Could you please come up to the front?” Walker ran around the crowd to the stage of the strobe-lit ballroom with a confused look on her face.
“I have waited long enough to do this,” shouted sophomore Dahmon Romness into the microphone at Fireball on Feb. 24. At 11:17 p.m., Romness got down on one knee and popped the question.
“Will you marry me?” The crowd gathered and cheered as Walker gasped, nodded and said “Yes.” After the proposal, the smiling couple danced to “Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing” by Aerosmith.
