Heights tune-up planned
Beloved by many and loathed by some, the Heights are a signature piece of the Hamline landscape. However, in the near future the place many first-years now call home will soon look a lot different.
“The Heights aren’t really conducive to building a first-year community. However, they do have some of the best rooms on campus,” said Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Residential Life Patti Klein.

NAY to HUSC’s lack of debate over new executive board nominations. Key positions like vice president and Political Affairs Committee chair were fast-tracked through the process of approval with few questions and little debate.
NAY to the new ACTC bus schedule. The new route takes 45 minutes to go from Hamline to Macalester. We could saddle a cross country runner and ride there in less time.

Volleyball swept in MIAC opener at Gustavus
If you’re on your way to St. Peter, Minnesota, you know you’re in for a long drive. If you’re on your way back, you know you’re in a for a long drive. If you’re on your way back and you were swept in the MIAC season opener, it may seem like an even longer drive. Head Coach Gina Rollie and her Piper Volleyball team started the season with five wins and only three losses before they kicked off the MIAC season last Wednesday against Gustavus. It was the MIAC opener for both teams.
