Safety and Security releases annual report
In accordance with various federal statutes, Safety and Security released their annual Policies and Statistics report.
The report lists crime statistics from 2002-04. According the report, university crime is on the decline.
Referrals for liquor law violations dropped by a large margin, from 77 to 33. Similarly, referrals for drug law violations fell 20 percentage points, from 20 to 16 percent. Motor vehicle theft has dropped 50 percent since 2002.
Two incidences of forcible sexual offenses were reported in 2004, the only such crimes reported from 2002-04.
The report also contains Safety and Security’s various policies, including the current sexual violence policy.
