23 Annual Minneapolis Film Festival
In its 23rd year, the Minneapolis Film Festival will celebrate over 150 films from over 50 countries, all in contention for cash prizes and prestige. The festival is the largest in the Midwest and takes place from April 1-16.
The Film Festival is again sponsored by Minnesota Film Arts, a non-profit organization that promotes film across the Midwest. They sponsor a multitude of film events across the Twin Cities, though their biggest festival is this festival. In the past, the organization has honored a bevy of talents from across the world.
Dedicated mainly to emerging young artists, past years have featured artists from as broad of spectrum as Sweden, Iran, Morocco, and Argentina.
Tickets are still available for the festival and can be purchased at www.brownpapertickets.com.
