    October 13-14, 2011

    This year's theme for the Wesley Scholars' and Mahle Scholars' retreat was "Keeping our Lives in Balance".  We traveled to Dunrovin Retreat Center, along the St. Croix River near Stillwater for an overnight of spiritual exploration, journaling, guided meditation, baking bread and getting to know one another better.  Participants included Wesley Scholars:  Michael Riley,  Rachel Marzahn, Rola Alkatout, Mac Garrett, Jozie Nummi, Cassidy Kleinheksel, Caitlin Nosanov, and Beth Ziebarth; and Mahle Scholars: Christine Hubred and Kaisa Jackson.  Religious and Spiritual Life staff from the Wesley Center included Megan Dimond and Nancy Victorin-Vangerud.

    Hamline Church United Methodist and Hamline University's Wesley Center are proud to present Robert Robinson, gospel artist, in an evening concert on Saturday, February 27, at 7:30 p.m. at Hamline Church. There is no charge, but a $10 donation is suggested.

    The General Board of Higher Education and Ministry of the United Methodist Church is pleased to invite nominations for the 2015-2016 Exemplary Teacher Award. The award is open to either full-time or adjunct faculty. Any Hamline University student, staff, or faculty member may be a nominator, and faculty may self-nominate. The deadline for nominations is Friday, February 19, 2016.

    The Wesley Center for Spirituality, Service, and Social Justice invites everyone to come to International Women's Day on Tuesday, March 8, from 6-8 p.m. in the Bush Center Ballroom. Minnesota's International Women’s Day is designed to catalyze activism, celebrate diversity, and highlight advancements and challenges in women’s rights and equality.
