Take home a memorable piece of artwork as a souvenir of the weekend. Stop by the Bush Center for a family caricature or realistic portrait, hand drawn by local artists. (Limit one per family/group).

Hamline University Theatre is proud to kick off its 82nd season with CABARET (the new Broadway revision), directed by Randy Winkler, with the book by Joe Masteroff, music by John Kander, and lyrics by Fred Ebb. "Life is a cabaret, old chum" in 1931 Berlin, Germany where the Nazis are rising to power. Sally Bowles, an English night-club singer, and her lover Clifford Bradshaw, an American writer, find themselves swept up in the decadence of a world on the verge of catastrophe. CABARET features a wild and raucous musical score (including a new song written specifically for the revision) and embraces sexuality as it showcases several touching and sometimes terrifying melodies to mesmerize the audience. Join the Hamline University Jazz Ensemble, a 25-piece jazz band, for a jazz prelude prior to the Annual Sundin Memorial Concert. (Tickets for the Memorial Concert Required)

The music ensembles of Hamline University - the internationally known A Capella Choir, Women’s Chorale, Hamline Orchestra, and Winds and Jazz ensembles - will present their first concert of the fall semester. Reception immediately following the concert in the Sundin lobby. (Tickets Required - we are no longer accepting reservations for Concert tickets).
