    Valerie Chepp, assistant professor of sociology and social justice, recently published a book chapter titled, Doing Critical Pedagogy in an Ironically Sexist World, in the edited volume, Teaching Gender and Sex in Contemporary America.

    Kris Norman-Major, professor of public administration in the School of Business, presented her research, Cross-Sector Partnerships, Social Equity, and the Development of Workforce and Affordable Housing in Minnesota, at the National Academy of Public Administration panel on social equity in governance in Washington DC.

    Brian Peterson, senior associate director of undergraduate admission, is retiring at the end of August after 36 years at Hamline. A reception will be held on Tuesday, 30 August from 4-6 p.m. in Kay Fredericks Room to thank Brian for endless commitment to this university and its students.
