• Commuter Connections

    Hamline’s Commuter Center is called Commuter Connections. Commuter Connections is staffed by current Hamline students.  The student staff maintains regular "tabling hours" in the Central Forum on the first floor of the Anderson Center.   Additionally, Commuter Connections hosts an array of events throughout the year to make commuter students feel like they have a home away from home.

    Hamline Parking Policy

    A parking permit is required in order to park in the campus lots between the hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and Fridays 8 a.m. to 4 p. All Hamline students are required to register their vehicle with Safety and Security regardless of whether or not they plan to park in the campus parking lots.     Mass Transit

    Many Hamline students rely on public transit to get to and from campus or as an inexpensive means to get out and explore the Twin Cities. Hamline University is served by two main bus lines, number 84 on Snelling Avenue and number 67 on Minnehaha Avenue. Bus passes are available for purchase at the Welcome Desk in the Anderson Center.

    St. Paul Smart Trips

    St. Paul Smart Trips is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that improves access and mobility for those who travel in and around St. Paul," smart-trips.org website.

    Commuter Connections offers free lockers for commuter students. Locker contracts are available on a semester or academic year basis. If you are interested in getting a locker, please speak with a staff member in Commuter Connections or you may inquire at the Anderson Center front desk.
