    Neighborhood Housing

Welcome to the neighborhood housing website!  Hamline University has created this resource to assist Hamline students in search of off-campus housing options.  In addition, we hope the information on this site will help you maintain good relationships with your roommates, landlords, and neighbors.  Saint Paul and the surrounding communities are a wonderful places in which to live, work, study, and play.  It is our hope that this website will help you make well-informed decisions and enjoy your experience living in off-campus.

We encourage you to do your due diligence with your off-campus housing search.   That starts with fellow Hamline students.   Inquire to see if they are satisfied with their landlord’s level of responsiveness and responsibility.  Additionally, we encourage you utilize Piperbabble and the Website of the Minnesota State Attorney General to further assist you in your off-campus housing search.

    Piperbabble

Piperbable is an online feature within Piperline. where current Hamline students, faculty, and staff can post listings for apartments, roommates, items for sale, etc.  A staff member from the Division of Student Affairs also posts to apartment posting to this site on behalf of landlords and management companies.  However, Hamline University does not investigate nor endorse any off-campus, rental properties, landlords, or management companies.  The responsibility still lies with the student to schedule apartment showings and evaluate rental properties on their own.  Pipebabble is located under "additional services" within the Piperline website.
