The Mail Services Center is located in the lower level of the Walker Field House. The receiving dock and package room are located on the main floor of Walker Field House, on Taylor Avenue. IKON is responsible for picking-up sorting, processing, metering, and delivering all incoming and outgoing mail. This includes all US Mail, overnight packages (UPS, FEDEX, etc.), and interoffice mail.

If mail services are required beyond this standard schedule, please let us know as soon as possible.

    Mail Runs

IKON will perform route deliveries beginning at 12 p.m. daily. The purpose of these runs will be to pick-up and deliver all US mail, interoffice mail, and outgoing parcels. Deliveries will be made to the designated mail stops in your area. Pick-ups will be made from these same locations. Our mail runs may also be used to deliver copy jobs and paper.

    Pickup Times

Outgoing USPS mail is picked up at 3:30 p.m. daily. We make every effort to process all outgoing mail on the same day it is received, but metered mail that is dropped off after 3 p.m. may not go out until the following day. UPS and FedEx generally pick up between 3 and 4 p.m. daily. For urgent parcels, please call x2215 to find out whether the pick-up has been made.

    Bulk/Non-Profit Mail

Mailings meeting certain criteria may qualify for lower postage rates by virtue of Hamline University’s non-profit mailing permits. Hamline Mail Services works closely with several mailing vendors to process these types of projects. Contact Matt James at mjames06@hamline.edu for more information.
